      Abstract
Pakan diberikan secara at satiation, sedangkan kualitas air dipantau melalui pengukuran suhu, pH, DO, dan amonia. Perbedaan kedalaman air terbukti meningkatkan produktivitas pembenihan ikan molly.

Demand for molly fish fry reached 47.914.049 fry in 2024, but supply has not been able to meet market demand due to low production and productivity. This study aims to determine the optimal water depth for maximizing the growth of molly fish fry. The study used a completely randomized design with four water level treatments 15, 20, 25, and 30 cm each with three replicates. Feed was provided at satiation, while water quality was monitored by measuring temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), and ammonia. The results showed that a water depth of 25 cm yielded the best results (P < 0,05), with a daily growth rate in length of 4,1 ± 0,03%, absolute weight gain of 0,88 ± 0,04 g, absolute length gain of 1,70 ± 0,05 cm, survival rate of 87%, feed conversion ratio of 1,35 ± 0,05, and water use efficiency of 0,42 g L -1. Differences in water depth were shown to increase molly fish hatchery productivity.
