Pembangunan Frontend Dashboard Monitoring Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa Menggunakan Metode Scrum

Abstract

Proses monitoring tugas akhir mahasiswa di PT XYZ belum berjalan optimal karena sistem sebelumnya belum terintegrasi secara penuh sehingga beberapa fitur frontend belum berfungsi secara maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun frontend dashboard monitoring tugas akhir menggunakan framework Laravel dengan metode Scrum untuk mendukung pengajuan bimbingan, verifikasi, pengelolaan milestone, dan pemantauan progres mahasiswa secara terstruktur, interaktif, serta mudah digunakan oleh mahasiswa, dosen pembimbing, dan admin program studi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa frontend dashboard berhasil dikembangkan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna dengan menyediakan fitur login, dashboard berdasarkan peran, pengelolaan bimbingan dan milestone, visualisasi progres, notifikasi, serta manajemen akun. Pengujian Black Box Testing menunjukkan seluruh fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai kebutuhan, sedangkan User Acceptance Testing memperoleh tingkat penerimaan pengguna sebesar 94,44%, sehingga frontend dashboard yang dikembangkan mampu mendukung proses monitoring tugas akhir secara lebih efektif, informatif, dan mudah digunakan.

The final thesis monitoring process at PT XYZ has not been fully optimized because the previously developed system is not yet fully integrated, resulting in several frontend features that do not function effectively. This study aims to develop a frontend dashboard for monitoring students' final thesis using the Laravel framework and the Scrum methodology to support supervision requests, verification, milestone management, and progress monitoring in a structured, interactive, and user-friendly manner for students, supervisors, and program administrators. The results indicate that the frontend dashboard was successfully developed according to user requirements by providing role-based dashboards, supervision and milestone management, progress visualization, notifications, and account management features. Black Box Testing confirmed that all system functions operated as expected, while User Acceptance Testing achieved a user acceptance rate of 94.44%, indicating a very high level of user satisfaction. Therefore, the developed frontend dashboard effectively supports the final thesis monitoring process in a more structured, informative, and user-friendly manner.
