      Abstract

Increased transportation activity in Bogor City has the potential to raise PM2.5 concentrations, which are also influenced by meteorological conditions, particularly wind and rainfall. This study aims to analyze the temporal fluctuation of PM2.5, its relationship with vehicle volume and wind, and to estimate the contribution of emission sources using the Hybrid Single-Particle Lagrangian Integrated Trajectory Concentration Weighted Trajectory (HYSPLIT-CWT) method. The data used consist of PM2.5 concentrations and meteorological parameters from CCROM-SEAP, IPB University, Baranangsiang Campus, as well as 2024 vehicle volume data from the Baranangsiang Toll Gate provided by PT Jasa Marga. The data were analyzed using temporal fluctuation analysis, wind rose, polar plot, correlation analysis, and HYSPLIT-CWT. The results show that in 2024, the average PM2.5 concentration was 20 µg/m³, with the highest value of 59 µg/m³ recorded in August. Concentrations increased during the dry season, coinciding with low rainfall and weak wind speed. Vehicle volume exhibited a weekly pattern that increased toward the weekend (Friday and Saturday), consistent with the rise in PM2.5, with a coefficient of determination of R² = 0.4936. Wind speed showed a negative correlation with PM2.5 concentration, with the strongest correlation observed during the rainy season (r = -0.61) and the weakest during the dry season (r = -0.06). Polar plot analysis and HYSPLIT-CWT identified the dominant wind directions and revealed contributions from both local and regional emission sources to the PM2.5 concentrations measured at Baranangsiang.
