| dc.description.abstract | MUHAMMAD SURYA RAMADHAN. Aplikasi Madu Hutan Apis dorsata terhadap Maskulinisasi Ikan Cupang Betta sp. Dibimbing oleh MUHAMMAD ARIF MULYA dan WIYOTO. Rendahnya persentase jenis kelamin jantan yang dihasilkan setiap masa pemijahan. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu meningkatkan persentase jenis kelamin jantan melalui metode maskulinisasi menggunakan madu hutan. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan persentase jenis kelamin jantan pada ikan cupang dengan menggunakan madu hutan. Dosis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tanpa perendaman madu hutan (K), madu hutan 4,75 mL-1 (MH1), madu hutan 5 mL-1 (MH2), dan madu hutan 5,25 mL-1 (MH3). Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 90 hari, menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Paramater yang diamati yaitu sintasan, nisbah kelamin jantan, pengamatan jenis kelamin, dan kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan MH3 memiliki persentase jenis kelamin jantan tertinggi yaitu sebesar 74±1,52% jika dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya. Pemberian madu hutan dengan dosis yang berbeda tidak mempengaruhi sintasan ikan cupang. Aplikasi madu hutan dapat meningkatkan persentase jenis kelamin jantan pada ikan cupang. | |
| dc.description.abstract | MUHAMMAD SURYA RAMADHAN. Application of Forest Honey Apis dorsata for the Masculinization of Betta sp. Supervised by MUHAMMAD ARIF MULYA and WIYOTO. The low percentage of male offspring produced during each spawning period. One approach that can be taken is to increase the percentage of males through a masculinization method using wild honey. This final project aims to increase the percentage of male betta fish using wild honey. The doses used in this study were no forest honey treatment (K), 4.75 mL-1 of forest honey (MH1), 5 mL-1 of forest honey (MH2), and 5.25 mL-1 of forest honey (MH3). This study was conducted over 90 days using a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replicates. The parameters observed were survival rate, male sex ratio, sex determination, and water quality. The results showed that the MH3 treatment had the highest percentage of males, at 74 ± 1.52%, compared to the other treatments. The administration of forest honey at different doses did not affect betta fish survival. The application of forest honey can increase the percentage of males in betta fish. | |
