Perancangan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Penjualan dan Pembelian Berbasis Microsoft Access pada UMKM RM Manre

Abstract

Proses pencatatan transaksi penjualan dan pembelian pada UMKM RM Manre masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan spreadsheet sederhana sehingga memerlukan waktu yang lebih lama serta belum mampu menghasilkan laporan secara otomatis. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem informasi akuntansi berbasis Microsoft Access untuk mempermudah proses pencatatan transaksi serta penyusunan laporan keuangan yang lebih cepat, akurat, dan terstruktur. Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian terapan dengan pendekatan kualitatif serta metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model Waterfall, sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian berupa sistem informasi akuntansi yang memiliki fitur login, pengelolaan data master, transaksi penjualan, transaksi pembelian, serta laporan penjualan, pembelian, dan laba rugi, dengan hasil pengujian Black Box Testing menunjukkan seluruh fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, sistem yang dirancang mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses pencatatan serta membantu pemilik UMKM RM Manre memperoleh informasi yang lebih akurat sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan.

The recording process of sales and purchase transactions at MSMEs RM Manre is still carried out manually using simple spreadsheets, resulting in longer processing times and the inability to generate financial reports automatically. This study aims to design a Microsoft Access-based Accounting Information System to facilitate transaction recording and to produce financial reports more quickly, accurately, and systematically. This research employed an applied research approach with a qualitative method and adopted the Waterfall model of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The result of this study is an Accounting Information System equipped with login functionality, master data management, sales transaction processing, purchase transaction processing, and sales, purchase, and profit and loss reporting features. The results of Black Box Testing indicate that all system functions operated in accordance with user requirements. Therefore, the developed system is capable of improving the efficiency of transaction recording and assisting the owner of MSMEs RM Manre in obtaining more accurate information to support decision-making.
