      Potensi Energi Gelombang Laut di Indonesia pada Periode Historis dan Proyeksi Berdasarkan Model CMIP6

      Abstract
      Energi gelombang laut merupakan sumber energi baru terbarukan yang bersih dan berkelanjutan dengan potensi besar di perairan Indonesia, khususnya di wilayah yang berhadapan langsung dengan Samudra Hindia dan Samudra Pasifik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi deviasi parameter energi gelombang model CMIP6 terhadap ERA5, mengidentifikasi wilayah perairan Indonesia dengan potensi energi gelombang tertinggi, serta menganalisis proyeksi perubahannya berdasarkan skenario SSP1-2.6 dan SSP5-8.5 pada periode 2021–2050. Evaluasi model dilakukan menggunakan Taylor Skill Score dan Taylor Diagram, sedangkan koreksi bias diterapkan dengan metode Empirical Quantile Mapping sebelum dilakukan analisis multi-model ensemble. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa seluruh model secara sistematis menghasilkan nilai energi gelombang yang lebih rendah dari ERA5 sebelum koreksi bias, namun mengalami peningkatan kesesuaian setelah koreksi dilakukan. Pada periode proyeksi, wilayah pesisir selatan Jawa hingga Nusa Tenggara serta bagian barat Sumatera memiliki potensi energi gelombang tertinggi dengan nilai melebihi 20–30 kW/m, terutama pada musim monsun timur. Pola distribusi spasial proyeksi relatif serupa dengan periode historis, namun skenario SSP5-8.5 menghasilkan fluks energi gelombang yang sedikit lebih besar dibandingkan SSP1-2.6, khususnya di perairan selatan Indonesia dengan perubahan sekitar -3 kW/m. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan dalam penilaian potensi energi gelombang di masa depan sekaligus penentuan wilayah prioritas pengembangan energi gelombang di Indonesia.
       
      Ocean wave energy is a clean and sustainable renewable energy resource with considerable potential for Indonesia, particularly in regions directly exposed to the Indian Ocean and the Pacific ocean. This study aims to evaluate the deviation of wave energy parameters from CMIP6-derived models against ERA5 reanalysis data, identify regions with the highest wave energy potential, and analyze projected changes under SSP1-2.6 and SSP5-8.5 scenarios for 2021–2050. Model evaluation was conducted using the Taylor Skill Score and Taylor Diagram, while the bias correction was applied through the Empirical Quantile Mapping method prior to multi-model ensemble analysis. Evaluation results indicate that all models systematically underestimated wave energy relative to ERA5 before bias correction, with substatial improvement in agreement with ERA5 observed after correction. During the projection period, the southern coastal regions of Java to Nusa Tenggara and the western coast of Sumatra exhibited the highest wave energy potential, exceeding 25–30 kW/m, particularly during the southeast monsoon season. The projected spatial distribution pattern remains relatively consistent with the historical period, however, the SSP5-8.5 scenario produces slightly greater wave energy flux compared to SSP1-2.6, especially in southern Indonesian waters, with changes approximately -3 kW/m. These results provide baseline information for assessing future wave energy resources identifying priority areas for wave energy development in Indonesia.
