dc.description.abstractPerubahan iklim global menjadi isu lingkungan yang terus dikaji akibat peningkatan konsentrasi gas rumah kaca. Indonesia berkomitmen dalam upaya penurunan gas rumah kaca sebesar 31,89% secara mandiri pada tahun 2030 untuk seluruh sektor, termasuk pertanian. Penelitian bertujuan mempelajari pengaruh fly ash terhadap perubahan fluks CO2 pada proses dekomposisi bahan organik. Penelitian berupa dekomposisi bahan organik dalam skala laboratorium menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 2 faktor yaitu faktor dosis fly ash (FA) (0%, 5%, 10%, dan 20% b/b), dan faktor bahan organik (jerami padi, pukan sapi, dan brangkasan jagung). Fluks CO2 diukur secara langsung menggunakan Li-Cor Li-830 pada hari ke-1, 5, 13, 21, 35, 49, dan 70 masa inkubasi. Fluks CO2 mengalami peningkatan pada hari ke-1 sampai hari ke-13, kemudian mengalami penurunan secara bertahap sampai hari ke-70 inkubasi. Fly ash tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap fluks CO2, namun terdapat tren penurunan dengan peningkatan dosis fly ash. Bahan organik berpengaruh nyata terhadap fluks CO2 dengan jerami padi dan brangkasan jagung menghasilkan fluks CO2 nyata lebih tinggi dibandingkan pukan sapi. Rasio C/N ketiga bahan organik mengalami penurunan seiring masa inkubasi. Terdapat indikasi adanya penangkapan CO2 oleh fly ash melalui proses karbonasi.
dc.description.abstractGlobal climate change has become a major environmental issue due to the increasing concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Indonesia has committed to independently reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 31.89% by 2030 across all sectors, including agriculture. This study was aimed to evaluate the effect of fly ash on changes in CO2 flux during the decomposition of organic matter. The experiment was conducted under laboratory conditions using a completely randomized design (CRD) with two factors: fly ash (FA) application rates (0%, 5%, 10%, and 20% w/w) and organic matter types (rice straw, cattle manure, and corn stover). CO2 flux was measured directly using a LI-COR LI-830 on days 1, 5, 13, 21, 35, 49, and 70 of the incubation time. CO2 flux increased from day 1 to day 13 and then decreased gradually until day 70 of incubation. Fly ash had no significant effect on CO2 flux, although there was a decrease trend with increasing fly ash rates. Organic matter type significantly affected CO2 flux, with rice straw and corn stover producing higher CO2 fluxes than cattle manure. C/N ratio of all organic matter decreased with increasing incubation time. There was an indication of CO2 capture by fly ash through carbonation process.
