Plant-parasitic nematodes are one of the limiting factors in celery (Apium graveolens L.) cultivation. This study was aimed to identify and determine the dominance of phytonematode genera through quantitative analysis of population counts and absolute frequencies. Samples were taken purposively from celery polyculture fields in Pacet District. Nematode extraction was performed using the mist chamber and centrifugation-flotation methods for root and soil samples. Morphological identification was based on juvenile and adult characteristics, with the perineal patterns of adult females for Meloidogyne. Four phytonematode genera were successfully identified, namely Meloidogyne, Rotylenchulus, Tylenchus, and Criconemoides. The genus Meloidogyne was the dominant taxon with the highest prominence value (PV) in root tissue (1784,44) and soil (478,33) of symptomatic plants. This dominance is believed to be caused by the coexistence of two polyphagous species, M. incognita and M. arenaria. Meanwhile, the integration of polyculture with the Alliaceae family (scallions) was able to suppress the nematode population.
