      Abstract

The Sustainable Coffee and Traceability Teaching Factory (TEFA) at the IPB Vocational School serves as an industry-based learning facility that integrates coffee cultivation, processing, and marketing into a single educational system. Through these activities, students gain practical experience aligned with workforce demands. However, the Coffee TEFA currently lacks an official profile video that comprehensively showcases its identity, facilities, production processes, and the implementation of sustainability and traceability concepts. This situation hinders the effective communication of information to the public, potential partners, and stakeholders. Therefore, there is a need for audiovisual media capable of presenting information in an engaging, informative, and professional manner. This project aims to produce a profile video for the Sustainable Coffee and Traceability Teaching Factory to serve as a tool for information, promotion, documentation, and institutional image enhancement. The video production process employs the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, comprising six stages: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. Each stage is executed systematically, ranging from concept formulation, scriptwriting, and storyboarding to visual material collection, filming, video editing, result evaluation, and final publication. The project result is a 3-minute-58-second profile video illustrating the end-to-end coffee production flow—from seedling preparation, cultivation, post-harvest handling, processing, roasting, quality control, and packaging to marketing via VOKAFE. The video also highlights student involvement across various study programs, the partnership with PT Inti Gravfarm Indonesia, and the application of circular economy concepts that support sustainability. The content is presented using a cinematic storytelling approach, ensuring the information is conveyed coherently, communicatively, and in a manner easily understood by the audience. Various videography techniques—such as varied camera angles, shot sizes, visual composition, and camera movements—were employed during production to reinforce the message delivery. Applying the MDLC method ensures that each stage of production proceeds in a structured manner, while the use of appropriate videography techniques yields visually engaging results that comprehensively showcase the Coffee Teaching Factory's activities. The resulting profile video is expected to serve as a tool for information, promotion, and academic documentation, as well as to enhance the image and visibility of the Sustainable Coffee and Traceability Teaching Factory at the IPB Vocational School.
