| dc.description.abstract | Ekosistem mangrove Desa Pantai Mekar, Muara Gembong, berpotensi menerima masukan logam berat dari aktivitas industri, domestik, transportasi perairan, dan aliran sungai yang bermuara ke Teluk Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji konsentrasi timbal (Pb) dan merkuri (Hg) pada air, sedimen, serta jaringan pidada, dan mengevaluasi tingkat bioakumulasinya berdasarkan nilai Biota Sediment Accumulation Factor (BSAF) dan Bioconcentration Factor (BCF). Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada dua stasiun dengan karakteristik lingkungan berbeda, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). Konsentrasi Hg pada air berkisar 0,0002–0,0003 mg/L dan masih berada di bawah baku mutu, sedangkan Pb pada stasiun-2 mencapai 0,013 mg/L sehingga melebihi baku mutu air laut untuk biota. Hg tertinggi pada jaringan pidada ditemukan pada batang di stasiun-1 sebesar 0,058 mg/kg, sedangkan kandungan Pb pada daun dan batang relatif rendah. Nilai BSAF dan BCF Hg tertinggi juga ditemukan pada batang di stasiun-1, masing-masing sebesar 58 dan 290. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akumulasi logam berat pada pidada umumnya rendah, meskipun akumulasi Hg relatif tinggi ditemukan pada batang di stasiun-1. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The mangrove ecosystem of Pantai Mekar Village, Muara Gembong, is potentially exposed to heavy metal inputs from industrial, domestic, shipping, and riverine activities connected to Jakarta Bay. This study aimed to determine lead (Pb) and mercury (Hg) concentrations in water, sediment, and pidada tissues and to evaluate their bioaccumulation using the Biota Sediment Accumulation Factor (BSAF) and Bioconcentration Factor (BCF). Samples were collected from two stations with different environmental characteristics and analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). Mercury concentrations in water ranged from 0,0002 to 0,0003 mg/L and remained below the marine water quality standard, whereas Pb at station-2 reached 0,013 mg/L, exceeding the standard for marine biota. The highest Hg concentration in pidada tissues was detected in stems at station-1 (0,058 mg/kg), while Pb concentrations in leaves and stems were relatively low. The highest Hg BSAF and BCF values were also recorded in stems at station-1, reaching 58 and 290, respectively. Overall, heavy metal accumulation in pidada was low, although relatively high Hg accumulation was observed in stems at station-1. | |
