| dc.description.abstract | Ekosistem Mangrove Pantai Mekar Bekasi merupakan kawasan estuari yang rentan terhadap pencemaran logam berat akibat aktivitas antropogenik.
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis konsentrasi timbal (Pb) dan merkuri (Hg) pada air, sedimen, dan daging kepiting bakau serta menentukan tingkat bioakumulasinya berdasarkan nilai Biota-Sediment Accumulation Factor (BSAF) dan Bioconcentration Factor (BCF). Analisis logam berat pada sampel
menggunakan metode Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi Pb pada air di Stasiun 2 (0,013 mg/l) melebihi baku mutu, sedangkan Hg pada air di kedua stasiun masih berada di bawah baku mutu. Konsentrasi Pb dan Hg pada sedimen masih berada di bawah baku mutu yaitu berkisar 17,62–19,51 mg/kg dan 0,001–0,038 mg/kg. Konsentrasi Pb pada daging kepiting bakau tidak terdeteksi pada kedua stasiun, sedangkan Hg masih memenuhi baku mutu BPOM RI No. 5 Tahun 2018 yaitu berkisar 0,040–0,051 mg/kg. Nilai BSAF dan BCF menunjukkan bahwa Hg memiliki potensi bioakumulasi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan Pb. Hasil tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa sedimen merupakan sumber paparan utama Hg pada kepiting bakau. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The Mekar Beach Mangrove Ecosystem is an estuarine area vulnerable to heavy metal contamination due to anthropogenic activities. This study aimed to
determine the concentrations of lead (Pb) and mercury (Hg) in water, sediment, mangrove crab meat, and to evaluate their bioaccumulation using the Biota
Sediment Accumulation Factor (BSAF) and Bioconcentration Factor (BCF). Heavy metal concentrations were determined using Atomic Absorption
Spectrophotometry (AAS). The results showed that Pb concentration in water at Station 2 (0.013 mg/L) exceeded the quality standard, whereas Hg concentrations
in water remained below the standard at both stations. Pb and Hg concentrations in sediment ranged from 17.62–19.51 mg/kg and 0.001–0.038 mg/kg and remained below the sediment quality standards. Pb was not detected in mangrove crab meat, whereas Hg concentrations (0.040–0.051 mg/kg) complied with BPOM RI Regulation No. 5 of 2018. BSAF and BCF values indicated that Hg exhibited a greater bioaccumulation potential than Pb, suggesting that sediment was the
primary exposure pathway for Hg in mangrove crab. | |
