| dc.description.abstract | Kawasan mangrove Pantai Mekar Muaragembong menerima masukan bahan pencemar dari berbagai aktivitas antropogenik sehingga berpotensi meningkatkan akumulasi logam berat di lingkungan perairan. Timbal (Pb) dan merkuri (Hg) dapat terakumulasi pada sedimen maupun organisme akuatik termasuk kerang hijau (Perna viridis) yang bersifat filter feeder. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis konsentrasi Pb dan Hg pada air, sedimen, dan kerang hijau serta menentukan tingkat bioakumulasi berdasarkan nilai Bioconcentration Factor (BCF) dan Biota Sediment Accumulation Factor (BSAF). Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada dua stasiun penelitian di kawasan mangrove Pantai Mekar pada April 2026 dan konsentrasi logam berat dianalisis menggunakan Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi Pb pada air di Stasiun 2 melebihi baku mutu, sedangkan konsentrasi Hg pada air, sedimen, dan kerang hijau masih berada di bawah baku mutu yang berlaku. Nilai BCF dan BSAF menunjukkan perbedaan kemampuan akumulasi logam berat antar lokasi penelitian. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The mangrove area of Pantai Mekar Muaragembong receives pollutant inputs from various anthropogenic activities, potentially increasing heavy metal accumulation in the aquatic environment. Lead (Pb) and mercury (Hg) may accumulate in sediments and aquatic organisms including green mussels (Perna viridis), which function as filter feeders. This study aimed to analyze Pb and Hg concentrations in water, sediments, and green mussels and to determine bioaccumulation levels using the Bioconcentration Factor (BCF) and Biota Sediment Accumulation Factor (BSAF). Sampling was conducted at two stations in the mangrove area of Pantai Mekar in April 2026, and heavy metal concentrations were analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). Results showed that Pb concentrations in water at Station 2 exceeded the applicable quality standard, whereas Hg concentrations in water, sediments, and green mussels remained below the established limits. BCF and BSAF values indicated differences in heavy metal accumulation capacity among sampling locations. | |
