Naskah Video Profil Teaching Factory Kopi Berkelanjutan dan Traceability di Sekolah Vokasi IPB

Abstract

Pendidikan vokasi berperan penting dalam menghasilkan lulusan yang memiliki kompetensi sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia industri melalui pembelajaran berbasis praktik. Salah satu implementasi pembelajaran tersebut adalah Teaching Factory, yaitu model pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan proses belajar dengan aktivitas produksi secara nyata. Teaching Factory Kopi Sekolah Vokasi IPB merupakan sarana pembelajaran berbasis industri yang mengelola proses produksi kopi dari hulu hingga hilir dengan menerapkan konsep kopi berkelanjutan dan traceability untuk menjamin keterlacakan produk serta mendukung praktik produksi yang berkelanjutan. Salah satu cara untuk memperkenalkan kegiatan dan keunggulan Teaching Factory Kopi kepada masyarakat, diperlukan media komunikasi yang mampu menyampaikan informasi secara menarik dan mudah dipahami. Salah satu media yang digunakan adalah video profil. Pada proyek akhir ini, penulis berperan sebagai scriptwriter yang bertugas menyusun naskah video profil Teaching Factory Kopi Sekolah Vokasi IPB menggunakan pendekatan cinematic storytelling. Pendekatan ini diterapkan agar penyampaian informasi tidak hanya bersifat informatif, tetapi juga mampu membangun alur cerita yang menarik dan memberikan pengalaman visual yang lebih bermakna bagi audiens. Penyusunan naskah dilakukan menggunakan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang terdiri atas enam tahapan, yaitu concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai aktivitas Teaching Factory Kopi. Naskah disusun secara kronologis mengikuti rantai produksi kopi, mulai dari budidaya, pengolahan, roasting, pengemasan, hingga penyajian di VOKAFE, serta menampilkan penerapan konsep ekonomi sirkular sebagai bagian dari praktik keberlanjutan. Melalui penyusunan naskah video profil ini, diharapkan informasi mengenai Teaching Factory Kopi Sekolah Vokasi IPB dapat tersampaikan secara efektif kepada masyarakat, meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai konsep traceability dan kopi berkelanjutan, serta memperkuat citra Teaching Factory Kopi sebagai sarana pembelajaran berbasis industri yang mendukung pendidikan vokasi.

Vocational education plays a crucial role in producing graduates who possess competencies aligned with the needs of industry through practice-based learning. One implementation of this learning approach is the Teaching Factory, a learning model that integrates educational activities with real-world production processes. The Coffee Teaching Factory at the IPB Vocational School serves as an industry-based learning facility that manages the coffee production process from upstream to downstream by implementing the concepts of sustainable coffee and traceability to ensure product transparency while promoting sustainable production practices. To introduce the activities and advantages of the Coffee Teaching Factory to the public, an effective communication medium is required to deliver information in an engaging and easily understandable manner. One such medium is a profile video. In this final project, the author served as the scriptwriter responsible for developing the script for the profile video of the Coffee Teaching Factory at the IPB Vocational School using a **cinematic storytelling** approach. This approach was employed to ensure that the information presented is not only informative but also capable of creating an engaging narrative and delivering a more meaningful visual experience for the audience. The script was developed using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which consists of six stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature review to obtain comprehensive information regarding the activities of the Coffee Teaching Factory. The script was organized chronologically following the coffee production chain, beginning with cultivation, processing, roasting, packaging, and ending with coffee serving at VOKAFE. It also highlights the implementation of the circular economy concept as an integral part of sustainable production practices. Through the development of this profile video script, it is expected that information about the Coffee Teaching Factory at the IPB Vocational School can be communicated effectively to the public, enhance understanding of the concepts of traceability and sustainable coffee, and strengthen the image of the Coffee Teaching Factory as an industry-based learning facility that supports vocational education.
