      Abstract

The event industry has evolved into a marketing communication medium that not only provides entertainment but also creates meaningful experiences between brands and audiences through an experiential marketing approach. K-Pop fan communities are highly active on social media but have limited opportunities to engage in direct and participatory experiences. This condition encouraged the implementation of "A Moment of J" (AMOJ), a fandom-based event that combined creative workshops, interactive games, and community activities to create meaningful experiences for participants. This final project aimed to design "A Moment of J" as a marketing event strategy managed by an event organizer and to manage the entire event process from planning, implementation, to evaluation. The project adopted a project-based approach using observation, documentation, and participant feedback forms as data collection techniques. The event implementation referred to Goldblatt's (2002) event management framework consisting of the research, design, planning, coordination, and evaluation stages. Participant experiences were evaluated using Schmitt's (1999) experiential marketing theory through the five dimensions of sense, feel, think, act, and relate. The results showed that all stages of the event management framework were successfully implemented throughout the event. The DIY bag charm workshop, interactive games, Jaehyun-themed decorations, and intimate gathering concept created sensory, emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and social experiences for participants. Observation results and participant feedback indicated positive experiences, active participation, and stronger social interaction among fandom members. The project demonstrates that a structured event management framework can effectively support the implementation of experience-based events and enhance participant engagement through an experiential marketing approach.
