| dc.description.abstract | Ikan patin merupakan komoditas ikan air tawar bernilai ekonomi tinggi dan masih memerlukan pengelolaan reproduksi untuk meningkatkan produktivitas. Cacing tanah merupakan pakan alami berprotein tinggi, mengandung asam amino esensial dan vitamin E, sedangkan kurkumin merupakan senyawa bioaktif yang berperan sebagai antioksidan berpotensi mendukung sintesis vitelogenin, mempercepat kematangan gonad, dan meningkatkan performa reproduksi ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pemberian cacing tanah dan kurkumin terhadap reproduksi induk ikan patin. Perlakuan terdiri atas kontrol (pelet komersial 3%), P1 (pelet komersial 2% + cacing tanah 1%), dan P2 (pelet komersial 2% + cacing tanah 1% + kurkumin 750 mg 100 g?¹ pakan). Parameter yang diamati meliputi persentase induk matang gonad, pertambahan bobot mutlak, diameter telur, fekunditas, Fertilization Rate (FR), Hatching Rate (HR), dan Survival Rate (SR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa P2 memberikan performa reproduksi terbaik dengan persentase induk matang gonad 83%, pertambahan bobot mutlak 120 g, diameter telur 1,04 mm, fekunditas 1.392.000 butir, FR 86,25%, dan HR 85,25%. Pemberian cacing tanah yang diperkaya kurkumin meningkatkan pematangan gonad dan performa reproduksi induk ikan patin. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Patin is a freshwater fish with high economic value that still requires reproductive management to increase productivity. Earthworms are a natural, high-protein feed source containing essential amino acids and vitamin E, while curcumin is a bioactive compound that acts as an antioxidant with the potential to support vitellogenin synthesis, accelerate gonadal maturation, and improve fish reproductive performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of earthworm and curcumin supplementation on the reproduction of catfish broodstock. The treatments consisted of a control (3% commercial pellets), P1 (2% commercial pellets + 1% earthworms), and P2 (2% commercial pellets + 1% earthworms + 750 mg curcumin per 100 g of feed). The parameters observed included the percentage of gonadally mature broodstock, absolute weight gain, egg diameter, fecundity, FR, HR, and SR. The results showed that P2 yielded the best reproductive performance, with a percentage of gonadally mature broodstock of 83%, an absolute weight gain of 120 g, an egg diameter of 1.04 mm, fecundity of 1,392,000 eggs, an FR of 86.25%, and an HR of 85.25%. Feeding earthworms enriched with curcumin improved gonadal maturation and reproductive performance in catfish broodstock. | |
