| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh proses pelaporan Account Payable pada cycle payment PT ABC yang masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan beberapa file Microsoft Excel terpisah, sehingga meningkatkan risiko human error, duplikasi data, dan keterlambatan pelaporan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi sistem yang berjalan, mengidentifikasi akar permasalahan, serta merancang sistem pelaporan Account Payable berbasis Microsoft Excel Macro VBA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan Root Cause Analysis dengan diagram fishbone, sedangkan pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode prototype dan pengujian menggunakan black box testing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan mampu mengintegrasikan pencatatan transaksi, monitoring aging Account Payable, pembaruan status pembayaran, serta penyusunan laporan dalam satu sistem terpusat. Sistem ini terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan ketepatan waktu pelaporan. PT ABC disarankan untuk mengoptimalkan
penggunaan sistem secara berkelanjutan sesuai kebutuhan operasional perusahaan. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This study is motivated by the manual Account Payable reporting process in the payment cycle at PT ABC, which uses several separate Microsoft Excel files, increasing the risk of human error, data duplication, and reporting delays. This study aims to analyze the existing system, identify root causes, and design a Microsoft Excel Macro VBA-based Account Payable reporting system. This research used a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Problem analysis employed Root Cause Analysis with a fishbone diagram, while system development used the prototype method and testing used black box testing. The results show that the developed system integrates transaction recording, aging Account Payable monitoring, payment status updates,
and report generation into a centralized system. The system improves efficiency, accuracy, and reporting timeliness. PT ABC is recommended to optimize the continuous use of the system according to operational needs. | |
