dc.description.abstractPencatatan data produksi manual di area mesin packaging (pengemasan) menyebabkan rendahnya transparansi data dan hambatan dalam proses keterlacakan produk. Proyek akhir ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pemantauan berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) untuk akuisisi data dari Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Omron NJ301 pada mesin pengemasan. Metode yang digunakan adalah integrasi gateway IoT dengan PLC melalui protokol Omron Factory Interface Network Service (FINS) berbasis kabel Ethernet CAT6, serta pengembangan dashboard berbasis Next.js dengan pemanfaatan Node-RED dan PostgreSQL pada Siemens IOT2040. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem mampu melakukan akuisisi data secara waktu nyata (real time) dengan rata-rata latensi 44,2 ms serta mengotomatiskan perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Sistem ini berhasil menyediakan basis data digital yang terdokumentasi dan dapat ditelusuri untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan operasional oleh pihak manajemen. Pengembangan ini merupakan langkah strategis dalam digitalisasi manufaktur guna mewujudkan transparansi operasional yang berkelanjutan di lini produksi.
dc.description.abstractManual production data recording in the packaging area leads to low data transparency and obstacles in the product traceability process. This research aims to design an Internet of Things (IoT) based monitoring system for data acquisition from an Omron NJ301 PLC to enhance production monitoring efficiency. The method involves integrating an IoT gateway with the PLC via the Omron Factory Interface Network Service (FINS) protocol using Ethernet CAT6 cabling, alongside the development of a Next.js-based dashboard utilizing Node-RED and PostgreSQL on a Siemens IOT2040 platform. The results demonstrate that the system is capable of real-time data acquisition with an average latency of 44.2 ms and automates Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) calculations. The system successfully provides an accurate digital database to support strategic management decision-making. This development represents a strategic step in manufacturing digitalization to foster operational transparency on the production line.
