| dc.description.abstract | Ikan koi Cyprinus rubrofuscus merupakan komoditas ikan hias air tawar bernilai ekonomis tinggi. Tingginya permintaan pasar mendorong peningkatan produksi, namun pertumbuhan dan sintasan masih menjadi kendala. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasinya adalah penambahan probiotik komersial dan protein dalam pakan. Magang khusus ini bertujuan mempelajari pemeliharaan ikan koi serta mengevaluasi pemberian probiotik komersial dan protein yang dicampurkan ke dalam pakan terhadap pertumbuhan, sintasan, dan kualitas air. Kegiatan ini menggunakan empat perlakuan, yaitu kontrol (P0), penambahan protein (P1), penambahan probiotik komersial (P2), serta kombinasi probiotik komersial dan protein (P3). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan P3 memberikan hasil terbaik dengan laju pertumbuhan bobot spesifik 2,94 % hari-1, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 50,4 g, laju pertumbuhan panjang spesifik 0,99 % hari-1, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak 7 cm, dan sintasan 100%. Berdasarkan hasil proyek akhir, kombinasi probiotik komersial dan protein memberikan performa pertumbuhan terbaik serta menghasilkan sintasan tertinggi dari perlakuan lainya sehingga berpotensi diaplikasikan pada budidaya ikan koi secara intensif. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Koi fish Cyprinus rubrofuscus are a freshwater ornamental fish with high economic value. High market demand has driven increased production, but growth and survival rate remain challenges. One way to address this is by adding commercial probiotics and protein to feed. This internship aimed to study koi maintenance and evaluate the effects of commercial probiotics and protein added to feed on growth, survival, and water quality. Four treatments were used: control (P0), protein supplementation (P1), commercial probiotic supplementation (P2), and a combination of commercial probiotics and protein (P3). Results showed that treatment P3 provided the best results, with a specific weight growth rate of 2.94%, an absolute weight growth rate of 50.4 g, a specific length growth rate of 0.99% per day, an absolute length growth rate of 7 cm, and 100% survival. Based on the final project results, the combination of commercial probiotics and protein yielded the best growth performance and highest survival rate compared to other treatments, indicating its potential for application in intensive koi farming. | |
