Biaya pakan yang tinggi menjadi salah satu kendala utama dalam budidaya ikan koi. Tepung cacing tanah Eudrilus eugeniae berpotensi sebagai sumber protein alternatif dalam formulasi pakan buatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pemanfaatan tepung cacing tanah terhadap pertumbuhan dan sintasan benih ikan koi Cyprinus rubrofuscus. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan, yaitu pakan komersial (K), substitusi tepung cacing tanah 30% (TC1), dan substitusi tepung cacing tanah 20% (TC2). Benih ikan berukuran awal 11,8 ± 0,4 cm dipelihara selama 35 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan TC1 menghasilkan pertumbuhan panjang mutlak tertinggi sebesar 3,80 ± 0,20 cm dan berbeda nyata dibandingkan kontrol (P<0,05). Pertumbuhan bobot mutlak, laju pertumbuhan bobot spesifik, tingkat kecerahan warna, dan sintasan tidak berbeda nyata antar perlakuan (P<0,05). Sintasan tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan TC1 sebesar 88 ± 2,89%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tepung cacing tanah Eudrilus eugeniae berpotensi dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber protein alternatif dalam formulasi pakan benih ikan koi. Eudrilus eugeniae earthworm meal has potential as an alternative protein source to
improve feed efficiency while supporting fish growth. This study evaluated the
utilization of Eudrilus eugeniae earthworm meal in artificial feed on the growth
performance and survival of koi fish Cyprinus rubrofuscus juveniles. A Completely
Randomized Design (CRD) was applied with three dietary treatments: commercial
feed (K), feed containing 30% earthworm meal substitution (TC1), and feed
containing 20% earthworm meal substitution (TC2). Fish with an initial length of
11.8 ± 0.4 cm were reared for 35 days. The TC1 treatment resulted in the highest
absolute length growth (3.80 ± 0.20 cm), which was significantly higher than the
control (P<0.05). Absolute weight gain, specific growth rate, color brightness, and
survival did not differ significantly among treatments (P<0.05). The highest survival
rate (88 ± 2.89%) was recorded in TC1. These results suggest that Eudrilus eugeniae
earthworm meal can be used as an alternative protein source in formulated diets for
koi fish juveniles
