Penambahan cacing tanah sebanyak 2% efektif meningkatkan kinerja reproduksi induk ikan lele. Catfish Clarias sp. cultivation activities are often hampered by seasonal reproductive cycles, making the sustainable supply of fry a challenge. This study aims to evaluate the effect of providing earthworms (Lumbricus rubellus) as supplementary feed on the reproductive performance and growth of catfish broodstock. The methods used are: P0 (control, 100% commercial feed), P1
(commercial feed + 1% earthworms), and P2 (commercial feed + 2% earthworms). The parameters observed included the number of mature gonads, fecundity, fertilization rate (FR), hatching rate (HR), survival rate (SR), egg diameter, and absolute weight gain. The results showed that the P2 treatment (2% earthworms) provided the best results across all parameters, with a gonad maturity percentage of 83%, a fecundity of 54,000 eggs, a FR of 86%, a HR of 81.8%, and a SR of 85%. The largest egg diameter (1.4 µm) and the highest absolute weight gain (105 g) were also found in the P2 treatment. The addition of 2% earthworms effectively
increased the reproductive performance of catfish broodstock.
