      Abstract

Cyprinus rubrofuscus koi fish is one of the freshwater ornamental fish commodities with high economic value. Feed is an important factor in cultivation, but its utilization efficiency is still low, so the addition of probiotics is needed to increase fish growth. This study aims to obtain the best dose of commercial probiotics for the growth and survival of Cyprinus rubrofuscus koi fish. The method used in this research was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three repetitions, namely control, LB1 10 mL kg?¹ feed, LB2 15 mL kg?¹ feed, and LB3 20 mL kg?¹ feed. The best treatment was produced by LB2 and each dose of 15 mL kg-1 feed which had a real influence on growth parameters because it produced optimal growth compared to other treatments. Meanwhile, administration of probiotics did not have a real effect on survival, with survival values ranging from 88–90%.
