| dc.description.abstract | Ikan Corydoras sterbai memiliki permintaan pasar yang tinggi. Namun, ketersediaan benih oleh pembudidaya belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan rasio kelamin induk guna meningkatkan performa reproduksi dan produktivitas pembenihan ikan C. sterbai. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap dengan 3 perlakuan dan masing-masing 3 ulangan. Perlakuan meliputi 1:1, 2:1 dan 3:1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan 2:1 memberikan hasil terbaik dan berbeda nyata (P<0,05) dibandingkan perlakuan 1:1 dan 3:1. Perlakuan 2:1 menghasilkan ratarata frekuensi pemijahan dengan nilai (8,33±1,53) kali, jumlah telur rata-rata (1233,33±286,59) butir, derajat pembuahan telur dengan nilai (89,65±0,85%). | dc.description.abstract | The Corydoras sterbai is a freshwater ornamental fish species with high market demand. Therefore, this study aims to determine the optimal sex ratio of C. sterbai broodstock to improve reproductive productivity. The research was conducted using a completely randomized design with three treatments and three replications. The treatments included ratio 1:1, ratio 2:1, ratio 3:1. The results showed that the 2:1 treatment produced the best outcomes and had a significant effect (P<0,05) compared to the 1:1 and 3:1 treatments. The 2:1 treatment resulted in the highest spawning frequency with an average of 8.33±1.53 times. The total number of eggs produced reached an average of 1233.33±286.59 eggs. The fertilization rate (FR) of 89.65±0.85%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that optimizing the broodstock sex ratio with a 2:1 male-to-female ratio is capable of increasing spawning frequency, egg quantity, and the egg fertilization rate. | |
