| dc.description.abstract | Ikan platydoras Platydoras armatulus salah satu ikan hias yang digemari dan memiliki pasar cukup tinggi. Budidaya ikan platydoras masih terdapat hambatan yaitu masih sulit untuk dikembangbiakkan dan pertumbuhan benih cenderung lama. Pendekatan yang dapat dilakukan yaitu meningkatkan nilai nutrisi pada pakan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh cacing sutera yang diperkaya vitamin C terhadap peningkatan pertumbuhan dan sintasan benih ikan platydoras. Rancangan Acak Lengkap yaitu pemberian cacing sutera yang tanpa diperkaya (C0), cacing sutera yang diperkaya vitamin C dosis 275 mg L-1 (C1), cacing sutera yang diperkaya vitamin C dosis 375 mg L-1 (C2), dan cacing sutera yang diperkaya vitamin C dosis 475 mg L-1 (C3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengayaan cacing sutera dengan vitamin C pada perlakuan C1, C2, C3 mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan benih ikan platydoras terhadap laju pertumbuhan panjang spesifik, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, laju pertumbuhan bobot spesifik, dan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak. Pengayaan cacing sutera dengan vitamin C dosis berbeda tidak mempengaruhi sintasan benih platydoras. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The talking catfish Platydoras armatulus is a popular ornamental fish with a high market demand. However, its aquaculture still faces obstacles, particularly regarding breeding difficulties and slow fingerling growth. One approach to overcome this is by enhancing the nutritional value of the feed. This study aimed to determine the effect of Tubifex worms enriched with vitamin C on increasing the growth and survival rate of platydoras fingerlings. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of four treatments: Tubifex worms without enrichment (C0), and Tubifex worms enriched with vitamin C at doses of 275 mg L-¹ (C1), 375 mg L-¹ (C2), and 475 mg L-¹ (C3). The results showed that enriching Tubifex worms with vitamin C in treatments C1, C2, and C3 significantly improved the growth of platydoras fingerlings, specifically in terms of specific length growth rate, absolute length growth, specific weight growth rate, and absolute weight growth. However, enrichment with different doses of vitamin C did not affect the survival rate of the fingerlings. | |
