| dc.description.abstract | Sistem lantai kandang merupakan faktor manajemen yang memengaruhi performa produksi dan kualitas telur parent stock ayam broiler. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan performa parent stock Ross 308 pada sistem deep litter dan slat-litter selama 10 minggu (umur 30–40 minggu) di PT XYZ, Purwakarta. Data dikumpulkan dari empat kandang melalui lembar harian kandang dan laporan hatchery, mencakup 10 parameter performa produksi dan penetasan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Independent T-test atau Mann-Whitney U test (p < 0,05). Slat-litter menghasilkan persentase telur tetas (99,076% vs 98,403%) dan berat telur (61,4 g vs 60,1 g) yang lebih tinggi secara signifikan (p < 0,05). Deep litter menunjukkan FCR per EP (231,9 g vs 243,3 g) serta mortalitas betina (0,202% vs 0,341%) dan jantan (0,611% vs 2,342%) yang lebih rendah secara signifikan (p < 0,05). HDP, FCR per HE, berat badan, fertilitas, daya tetas, dan saleable chick tidak berbeda signifikan (p = 0,05). FCR dan berat telur pada kedua sistem belum memenuhi standar manajemen Ross 308. Sistem slat-litter lebih unggul pada kualitas dan kebersihan telur tetas. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Floor system is a key management factor influencing production performance and egg quality of broiler parent stock. This study aimed to compare the performance of Ross 308 parent stock in deep litter and slat-litter systems over 10 weeks (30–40 weeks of age) at PT XYZ, Purwakarta. Data were collected from four houses through daily flock records and hatchery reports, covering 10 production and hatching performance parameters, analyzed using Independent T-test or Mann-Whitney U test (p < 0.05). Slat-litter produced significantly higher hatching egg percentage (99.076% vs 98.403%) and egg weight (61.4 g vs 60.1 g) (p < 0.05). Conversely, deep litter showed significantly lower FCR per EP (231.9 g vs 243.3 g) and female (0.202% vs 0.341%) and male (0.611% vs 2.342%) mortality (p < 0.05). HDP, FCR per HE, body weight, fertility, hatchability, and saleable chick did not differ significantly (p = 0.05). FCR and egg weight in both systems did not meet the Ross 308 management standard.
