Abstract

ABSTRAK DEVI NURFITRIANI. Perancangan Model Pengelolaan Program Podcast Lisivet sebagai Media Edukasi pada Channel YouTube BRMP Veteriner. Dibimbing oleh ABUNG SUPAMA WIJAYA. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi mendorong pemanfaatan media digital sebagai sarana edukasi publik, salah satunya melalui podcast pada platform YouTube. BRMP Veteriner memanfaatkan Program Podcast Lisivet untuk menyampaikan informasi mengenai kesehatan hewan, penyakit hewan, keamanan pangan asal hewan, dan isu veteriner lainnya. Namun, pengelolaan program tersebut belum memiliki model yang terdokumentasi secara sistematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis proses pengelolaan Program Podcast Lisivet pada Channel YouTube BRMP Veteriner serta merancang model pengelolaan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan institusi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teori Cutlip, Center and Broom (2016). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan Podcast Lisivet mencakup tahapan research, planning, action and communication, serta evaluation. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, penelitian menghasilkan model pengelolaan yang memuat proses identifikasi kebutuhan audiens, perencanaan program dan konten, pelaksanaan produksi dan komunikasi pesan, serta evaluasi program. Model tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman operasional untuk mendukung pengelolaan podcast edukasi yang lebih terstruktur, efektif, dan berkelanjutan di BRMP Veteriner. The development of information and communication technology has encouraged the use of digital media as a means of public education, one of which is through podcasts on YouTube platform. BRMP Veteriner utilizes the Lisivet Podcast Program to convey information about animal health, animal diseases, animal food safety, and other veterinary issues. However, the management of this program does not yet have a systematically documented model. This study aims to analyze the management process of the Lisivet Podcast Program on the BRMP Veteriner YouTube Channel and design a management model that suits the needs of the institution. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies, then analyzed using the theory of Cutlip, Center, and Broom (2016). The results show that the management of the Lisivet Podcast includes the stages of research, planning, action and communication, and evaluation. Based on this analysis, this study produces a management model that includes the process of identifying audience needs, program and content planning, implementation of message production and communication, and program evaluation. This model can be used as an operational guideline to support more structured, effective, and sustainable educational podcast management at BRMP Veteriner.
