dc.description.abstractWaktu pemerahan merupakan faktor penting dalam produksi susu sapi perah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbedaan produksi dan kualitas susu antara pemerahan pagi dan sore pada sapi laktasi kedua dengan interval pemerahan 15:9. Sebanyak 204 sampel susu dari 17 ekor sapi diambil satu kali setiap minggu selama enam minggu menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Parameter yang diamati meliputi produksi susu, protein, lemak, berat jenis, Solid Non-Fat (SNF), dan pH susu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan produksi susu pagi (7,45 ± 1,98 kg), protein (3,22 ± 0,09%), berat jenis (1,030 ± 0,00 g/mL), dan Solid Non-Fat (SNF) (8,82 ± 0,20%) lebih tinggi secara signifikan (p < 0,05) dibandingkan sore, yaitu produksi susu (4,43 ± 1,07 kg), protein (2,93 ± 0,15%), berat jenis (1,026 ± 0,00 g/mL), dan SNF (8,00 ± 0,38%). Sebaliknya, kadar lemak lebih tinggi (P < 0,05) pada pemerahan sore (4,04 ± 1,28%) dibanding pagi (0,64 ± 0,29%). Nilai pH tidak menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan (p < 0,05) antara pagi (6,87 ± 0,57) dan sore (6,89 ± 0,51). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa interval 15:9 memberikan hasil yang berbeda antara pemerahan pagi dan sore.
dc.description.abstractMilking time is an important factor in dairy cow milk production. This study aimed to analyze differences in milk production and quality between morning and afternoon milking in second-lactation cows with a 15:9 milking interval. A total of 204 milk samples from 17 cows were collected once a week for six weeks using purposive sampling. The parameters observed included milk production, protein, fat, specific gravity, Non-Fat Solids (SNF), and milk pH. The results showed that morning milk production (7,45 ± 1,98 kg), protein (3,22 ± 0,09%), specific gravity (1,030 ± 0,00 g/mL), and Non-Fat Solids (SNF) (8.82 ± 0.20%) were significantly higher (P < 0,05) compared to the afternoon, namely milk production (4,43 ± 1,07 kg), protein (2,93 ± 0,15%), specific gravity (1,026 ± 0,00 g/mL), and SNF (8,00 ± 0,38%). Conversely, fat content was higher (p < 0,05) in the afternoon milking (4,04 ± 1,28%) compared to the morning (0,64 ± 0,29%). pH values did not show a significant difference (p < 0,05) between morning (6,87 ± 0,57) and afternoon (6,89 ± 0,51) milkings. It can be concluded that the 15:9 interval yields different results between morning and afternoon milkings.
