Korelasi Saturasi Oksigen dengan Hemoglobin dan Bobot Badan Tikus yang Diberi Infusa Daun Serai pada Kadar Yang Berbeda

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kadar saturasi oksigen dengan hemoglobin dan bobot badan pada tikus yang diberi infusa daun serai (Cymbopogon citratus) dengan konsentrasi berbeda. Penelitian menggunakan tikus jantan dewasa yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok, yaitu kontrol, perlakuan infusa serai 20%, dan 80%. Perlakuan diberikan selama 14 hari. Parameter yang diamati meliputi saturasi oksigen, kadar hemoglobin, dan pertambahan bobot badan harian (PBBH). Perbedaan antar kelompok diuji dengan analysis of variance (ANOVA), sedangkan hubungan antar variabel dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier dan koefisien determinasi (R2) berdasarkan korelasi Pearson. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara hemoglobin dan saturasi oksigen tergolong sangat kuat pada kelompok 20% (R2 = 0,867) dan kontrol (R2 = 0,839), tetapi sangat lemah pada kelompok 80% (R2 = 0,0435). Saturasi oksigen juga berkorelasi dengan pertambahan bobot badan, dengan nilai R2 tertinggi pada kelompok 20% (0,7246), diikuti kontrol (0,6226), dan kelompok 80% (0,4095). Pertambahan bobot badan harian juga paling tinggi pada kelompok 20%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, infusa serai konsentrasi 20% menunjukkan respon paling optimal yang terlihat dari pertambahan bobot badan tertinggi dan korelasi yang kuat antara saturasi oksigen dan pertambahan bobot badan, sedangkan konsentrasi 80% menunjukkan korelasi yang melemah. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between oxygen saturation levels, hemoglobin, and body weight gain in rats administered lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) leaf infusion at different concentrations. Adult male rats were used and divided into three groups: a control group and treatment groups receiving 20% and 80% lemongrass infusion. The treatments were administered over a period of 14 days. Observed parameters included oxygen saturation, hemoglobin levels, and daily body weight gain (DBWG). Differences between groups were assessed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), while relationships between variables were analyzed using linear regression and the coefficient of determination (R2) based on Pearson correlation. The results indicated that the relationship between hemoglobin and oxygen saturation was very strong in the 20% group (R2 = 0.867) and the control group (R2 = 0.839), but very weak in the 80% group (R2 = 0.0435). Oxygen saturation also correlated with body weight gain, with the highest R2 value observed in the 20% group (0.7246), followed by the control group (0.6226) and the 80% group (0.4095). Daily body weight gain was also highest in the 20% group. The study concludes that the 20% lemongrass infusion concentration elicited the most optimal response, evidenced by the highest body weight gain and a strong correlation between oxygen saturation and body weight gain, whereas the 80% concentration showed a weakened correlation.
