      Abstract
      Perkembangan nyamuk Aedes aegypti sebagai vektor penyakit sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi lingkungan, terutama media air sebagai tempat berkembang biak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh jenis media air terhadap perkembangan morfologi dan siklus hidup Aedes aegypti. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan empat jenis media air, yaitu air ragi, air PAM, air hujan, dan air sumur, dengan pemberian pakan ikan komersial sebanyak 1 gram per hari pada setiap perlakuan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi lama perkembangan dari telur hingga dewasa serta perbedaan ukuran morfologi nyamuk yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media air memberikan pengaruh terhadap kecepatan perkembangan dan ukuran morfologi Aedes aegypti, media air ragi mempercepat perkembangan dan menghasilkan ukuran tubuh lebih besar, sedangkan media air hujan dan air sumur cenderung memperlambat pertumbuhan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dalam pengendalian vektor melalui pengelolaan lingkungan terutama pada sumber air sebagai tempat perkembangbiakan nyamuk.
       
      The development of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes as disease vectors is strongly influenced by environmental conditions, particularly water media as breeding sites. This study aims to analyze the effect of different types of water media on the morphological development and life cycle of Aedes aegypti. This study used an experimental method with four types of water media, namely yeast water, tap water, rainwater, and well water, with the same feeding treatment of 1 gram of commercial fish feed per day for each group. The observed parameters included the duration of development from egg to adult and differences in mosquito morphological size. The results showed that water media affected the development rate and morphology of Aedes aegypti, where yeast water accelerated development and produced larger body sizes, while rainwater and well water tended to slow growth. The results of this study can be used as a reference for vector control through environmental management, particularly water sources as mosquito breeding sites.
