      Abstract
The growth and health of cajuput seedlings are important factors in successful cultivation. One approach to improve these is the application of endophytic fungi, which establish mutualistic relationships with plants and produce bioactive compounds. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of endophytic fungi on the growth and health of cajuput seedlings. The fungi used were Penicillium sp., Colletotrichum sp., Trichoderma sp., and Botrytis sp., isolated from the roots and leaves of S. macrophylla and S. mahagony. The study involved seedling preparation, fungal suspension preparation and application, followed by growth and health assessments. The results showed that endophytic fungi had no significant effect on plant height or leaf number but significantly affected stem diameter, biomass, and disease severity. Penicillium sp. and Trichoderma sp. were the most effective treatments, reducing disease incidence and severity by up to 100%.
