The Bogor Halimun Salak Geopark area possesses significant tourism potential, featuring various tourism villages that offer natural, cultural, and educational attractions. However, the use of Instagram as a digital promotion tool in these villages remains suboptimal. Most tourism villages lack consistent content strategies, clear visual identities, and the technical skills required to produce digital content. Consequently, tourism promotion efforts have failed to reach their full audience potential. To address this, an Instagram management training program was conducted across five tourism villages, aiming to enhance the capacity of village managers to utilize social media for digital promotion. This report evaluates the training's effectiveness, participant engagement levels, and its impact on social media management within the villages. The project was carried out from February to May 2026 across five tourism villages in the Bogor Halimun Salak Geopark area. Participants included tourism village managers, while the Bogor Regency Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency (Bapperida) and the Bogor Regency Tourism and Creative Economy Office provided support, and university students served as organizers. The activity comprised three stages: pre-event (planning and needs assessment), during-event (instruction and practical sessions, including pre- and post-tests), and post-event (monitoring Instagram accounts for approximately 50 days following the training). Evaluation data were analyzed using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) evaluation model. The evaluation results indicate that the training program was effective. During the instructional sessions, the average participant understanding rose from 50% to 93%—an increase of 43%. In the practical sessions, the average technical proficiency improved from 44% to 97%—a 53% increase. Post-training monitoring revealed that all tourism villages began applying the training outcomes by managing their Instagram accounts more actively, consistently, and strategically, generating over 39,000 impressions and reaching more than 7,400 accounts. Furthermore, the activity budget was utilized efficiently, with actual expenditure totaling Rp1,386,063 against a planned budget of Rp2,000,000. The training program proved effective in enhancing the knowledge, technical skills, and capabilities of tourism village managers in utilizing Instagram as a digital promotional medium. Monitoring results also indicated tangible changes in the tourism villages' digital promotional activities; consequently, this program serves as a means to support promotional development and boost the visibility of tourism villages within the Bogor Halimun Salak Geopark area.
