dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini membahas matriks left circulant yang dibangun dari barisan Lucas berganti tanda untuk memperoleh formula eksplisit determinan, invers, dan nilai eigen, serta mengkaji efisiensi komputasinya melalui Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa determinan, invers, dan nilai eigen matriks left circulant Lucas berganti tanda dapat dinyatakan berdasarkan nilai eigen matriks circulant pasangannya. Selanjutnya, validasi numerik memperlihatkan bahwa formula yang diperoleh konsisten dengan metode standar hingga batas galat pembulatan numerik. Dari sisi komputasi, metode berbasis FFT lebih cepat daripada metode standar pada seluruh ordo yang diuji, dengan rasio percepatan sekitar 2,29 kali pada ?? = 100 dan 1,17 kali pada ?? = 1000.
dc.description.abstractThis study investigates left circulant matrices generated by the alternating-sign Lucas sequence to derive explicit formulas for the determinant, inverse, and eigenvalues, as well as to examine their computational efficiency using the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). The results show that the determinant, inverse, and eigenvalues can be expressed in terms of the eigenvalues of the associated circulant matrix. Numerical validation confirms that the derived formulas agree with those obtained using the standard method up to numerical rounding error. Furthermore, the FFT-based method requires less computation time than the standard method for all tested matrix orders, with speedups of approximately 2.29 at ?? = 100 and 1.17 at ?? = 1000.
