      Abstract
      Tegakan pinus memiliki potensi yang besar dalam menyimpan karbon dan menyerap karbon dioksida, sehingga diperlukan pendugaan yang akurat untuk mendukung pengelolaan hutan dan mitigasi perubahan iklim. Penelitian ini membandingkan hasil pendugaan biomassa, simpanan karbon, dan serapan karbon dioksida menggunakan metode model alometrik dan Biomass Expansion Factor (BEF) pada tegakan pinus di RPH Gobang, KPH Bogor. Dilakukan secara non-destruktif pada 22 plot sampel. Metode BEF berbasis volume faktor bentuk menghasilkan biomassa 226,11 ton/ha, simpanan karbon 106,27 ton/ha, dan serapan karbon dioksida 8,86 ton/ha/tahun. Metode ini menunjukkan tingkat ketelitian terbaik berdasarkan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial.
       
      Pine stands have great potential for carbon sequestration and carbon dioxide absorption, making accurate estimates essential to support forest management and climate change mitigation. This study compared estimates of biomass, carbon stock, and carbon dioxide uptake using allometric models and the Biomass Expansion Factor (BEF) method in a pine stand at the Gobang Forest Management Unit (RPH), Bogor Forest Management District (KPH). The study was conducted non-destructively on 22 sample plots. The volume-based form factor BEF method yielded a biomass of 226.11 tons/ha, a carbon stock of 106.27 tons/ha, and a carbon dioxide sequestration rate of 8.86 tons/ha/year. This method demonstrated the highest level of accuracy based on descriptive and inferential statistical analyses.
