      Abstract
Konsentrasi infusa 15% memberikan aktivitas paling efektif.

Long-term use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may cause gastrointestinal and renal damage. Bay leaves (Syzygium polyanthum) and Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera) are known to contain secondary metabolites, including flavonoids, eugenol, quercetin, tannins, saponins, and steroids, which possess potential anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. This study aimed to evaluate the anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities of a combination infusion of bay leaves and Moringa leaves at concentrations of 1%, 5%, 10%, and 15% in mice. Anti-inflammatory activity was evaluated using a 1% carrageenan-induced subplantar edema model, with paw edema volume measured using a plethysmometer at 0, 3, 6, and 9 hours after carrageenan induction. Analgesic activity was assessed using the tail-flick immersion test at 50 ± 2 °C at 0, 4, 8, and 12 hours. Data were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Tukey's post hoc test (a = 0.05). The results demonstrated that the combination infusion exhibited significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities (p<0.05) compared with the control group, as indicated by reduced edema and an increased pain threshold. The 15% infusion exhibited the greatest anti inflammatory and analgesic activities.
