      Rancang Bangun Sistem Linear Motion Pemberi Pakan Ayam Otomatis Berbasis Internet of Things

      Abstract
      Pemberian pakan ayam secara manual membutuhkan waktu dan tenaga serta berpotensi menghasilkan distribusi pakan yang tidak merata. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan menguji sistem pemberi pakan ayam otomatis berbasis gerak linear dan Internet of Things (IoT). Sistem menggunakan ESP32 sebagai pusat kendali, motor stepper dan timing belt sebagai penggerak linear, motor servo sebagai pengatur bukaan pakan, sensor ultrasonik sebagai pendeteksi ketersediaan pakan, serta dashboard web sebagai antarmuka pemantauan dan kendali. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem gerak linear bekerja stabil pada 100 RPM dengan waktu tempuh 3,6 detik dan torsi beban puncak 0,012 Nm. Distribusi pakan optimal diperoleh pada bukaan 1 inci dengan durasi 1,44 detik untuk menghasilkan sekitar 60 g pakan per siklus. Sensor ultrasonik menghasilkan kesalahan pembacaan di bawah 3% setelah koreksi. Sistem ini mampu mendistribusikan pakan secara terukur sepanjang lintasan gerak serta dapat dipantau melalui dashboard web.
       
      Manual chicken feeding requires time and labor and may cause uneven feed distribution. This study aimed to design and evaluate an automatic chicken feeding system based on linear motion and the Internet of Things (IoT). The system used an ESP32 as the main controller, a stepper motor and timing belt as the linear drive, a servo motor to control the feed gate, an ultrasonic sensor to monitor feed availability, and a web dashboard for monitoring and control. The results showed that the linear motion system operated stably at 100 RPM with a travel time of 3.6 s and a peak load torque of 0,012 Nm. The optimal feed distribution was obtained using a 1-inch gate opening with a duration of 1,44 s, producing approximately 60 g of feed per cycle. The ultrasonic sensor produced a measurement error below 3% after correction. The system was able to dispense feed measurably
