      Analisis Kerawanan Banjir di DAS Tamiang menggunakan Metode Weighted Overlay dengan Pendekatan SIG

      Abstract
      Banjir merupakan salah satu bencana hidrometeorologi yang paling sering terjadi di Indonesia dan menimbulkan dampak lingkungan serta sosial ekonomi yang signifikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kerawanan banjir di DAS Tamiang menggunakan metode Weighted Overlay berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Parameter yang digunakan meliputi kemiringan lereng, elevasi, curah hujan, jenis tanah, penggunaan lahan, dan buffer sungai. Data spasial diperoleh dari DEM SRTM, data curah hujan CHIRPS, data penggunaan lahan MapBiomas, serta data pendukung dari Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG) dan BPBD Aceh Tamiang. Setiap parameter diklasifikasikan dan diberi bobot sesuai dengan tingkat pengaruhnya terhadap kejadian banjir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kerawanan banjir tinggi hingga sangat tinggi dominan tersebar di bagian tengah dan timur DAS, yang dicirikan oleh elevasi rendah, kedekatan dengan sungai, dan penggunaan lahan yang intensif. Sementara itu, wilayah dengan tingkat kerawanan rendah umumnya berada pada daerah perbukitan dengan tutupan hutan yang rapat. Validasi menggunakan data kejadian banjir periode 2015–2025 menunjukkan bahwa peta kerawanan banjir yang dihasilkan memiliki kesesuaian yang baik dengan kejadian banjir aktual. Penelitian ini memberikan informasi penting untuk mendukung upaya mitigasi banjir dan pengelolaan DAS yang berkelanjutan di DAS Tamiang.
       
      Flood is one of the most frequent hydrometeorological disasters in Indonesia and causes significant environmental and socioeconomic impacts. This study aimed to analyze flood hazard levels in the Tamiang Watershed using a Geographic Information System (GIS)-based Weighted Overlay method. The parameters used included slope, elevation, rainfall, soil type, land use, and river buffer. Spatial data were obtained from DEM SRTM, CHIRPS rainfall data, MapBiomas land use data, and supporting data from the Geospatial Information Agency and BPBD Aceh Tamiang. Each parameter was classified and weighted according to its influence on flood occurrence. The results showed that high to very high flood hazard levels were predominantly distributed in the central and eastern parts of the watershed, characterized by low elevation, proximity to rivers, and intensive land use. Areas with low hazard levels were generally located in hilly regions with dense forest cover. Validation using flood event data from 2015–2025 indicated that the resulting flood hazard map corresponded well with actual flood occurrences. The study provides important information for flood mitigation and sustainable watershed management in the Tamiang Watershed.
