Waktu Kerja, Produktivitas, dan Biaya Tebang Tali Gantung di Hutan Rakyat Kecamatan Leksono, Wonosobo
Abstract
Logging in private forests poses significant risks to worker safety and the sustainability of the surrounding environment. The suspended cable logging technique offers a solution to minimize environmental damage caused by tree felling. This study aimed to analyze the work time, productivity, and operational costs associated with the suspended cable logging technique in private forests. The research was conducted in the operational area of the private Forest Farmers Association (APHR) in Leksono District, Wonosobo Regency. Two types of private forests with differing stand compositions were observed: those with *salak* (snake fruit) undergrowth (HTRS) and those without (HTRNS), both harvested using the suspended cable technique. A total of 40 sample trees were selected using purposive sampling. Work time was measured using the snap-back (null-stop) method. The results showed work times of 1,09 hours/setting for HTRS and 0,82 hours/setting for HTRNS. Productivity reached 1,42 m³/hour in HTRS, whereas in HTRNS, it was only 0,85 m³/hour. Operational costs were higher in HTRS Rp58.871/m³ compared to HTRNS Rp35.273/m³.
