      Abstract
Perlakuan K1 menghasilkan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak tertinggi sebesar 3,09±0,56 g, laju pertumbuhan spesifik tertinggi sebesar 3,29±0,56% hari-¹, sintasan hidup tertinggi sebesar 93,30%, serta rasio konversi pakan terendah sebesar 1,22±0,20.

Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus is a strategic aquaculture commodity in Indonesia, but its productivity is still constrained by high feed costs and insufficient optimal nutrition. Kaempferia galanga contains bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, tannins, and essential oils that have the potential to increase appetite and feed utilization efficiency. This study aims to determine the best dose of kaempferia simplicia to improve the growth and survival of nile tilapia juveniles. The method used is a Completely Randomized Design with four treatments and three replications, namely (K0): without the addition of kaempferia simplicia, (K1): 1%, (K2): 2%, (K4): 4%. The research results showed that the addition of simplicia had a significant effect (P<0,05) on the growth and feed conversion ratio of nile tilapia fry. Treatment K1 resulted in the highest absolute weight gain of 3,09±0,56 g, the highest specific growth rate of 3,29±0,56% day?¹, the highest survival rate of 93,30%, and the lowest feed conversion ratio of 1,22±0,20. Based on the research results, the addition of simplicia at a dose of 1% is the most effective dose to improve growth and survival of nile tilapia fingerlings.
