      Abstract
      PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan trading yang berlokasi di Jakarta Selatan dengan intensitas transaksi pengeluaran kas yang tinggi. Pencatatan transaksi pengeluaran kas masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan Microsoft Excel sederhana tanpa otomasi memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi inefisiensi pada sistem pencatatan manual yang berjalan dan mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi (SIA) Pengeluaran Kas Berbasis Visual Basic For Application (VBA) guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi pencatatan transaksi di PT XYZ. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian terapan dengan pendekatan perancangan, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Metode waterfall digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem yang digunakan yang melibatkan analisis kebutuhan, desain, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Hasil penelitian ini terkait pengembangan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Pengeluaran Kas berbasis Visual Basic For Application (VBA) yang diharapkan dapat mengelola transaksi pengeluaran kas secara efisien.
       
      PT XYZ is a trading company located in South Jakarta with a high volume of cash disbursement transactions. Recording of cash disbursement transactions is still done manually using a simple Microsoft Excel program without adequate automation. This study aims to identify inefficiencies in the existing manual recording system and develop a Visual Basic for Application (VBA)-based Cash Disbursement Accounting Information System (AIS) to improve the efficiency and accuracy of transaction recording at PT XYZ. The research method used is applied research with a design approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The waterfall method was used in system development, involving needs analysis, design, testing, and maintenance. The results of this study relate to the development of a Visual Basic for Application (VBA)-based Cash Disbursement Accounting Information System, which is expected to manage cash disbursement transactions efficiently.
