| dc.description.abstract | Lutung jawa (Trachypithecus auratus) merupakan primata endemik Pulau
Jawa yang populasinya terus mengalami penurunan akibat degradasi dan
fragmentasi habitat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan kesesuaian habitat
lutung jawa di Pulau Jawa serta mengidentifikasi faktor lingkungan yang
memengaruhi distribusi lutung jawa. Pemodelan dilakukan menggunakan algoritma
maximum entropy (maxent) berdasarkan 128 titik kehadiran dan 12 variabel
lingkungan terpilih. Kinerja model dievaluasi menggunakan nilai Area Under
Curve (AUC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model memiliki performa yang
baik dengan nilai AUC sebesar 0,871 dan standar deviasi sebesar 0,051. Habitat
lutung jawa didominasi oleh kategori kurang sesuai seluas 73.370,54 km²,
sedangkan habitat sangat sesuai mencakup 4243,14 km². Variabel yang
memberikan kontribusi terbesar terhadap model adalah class area (31,1%) dan
ketinggian (27,4%), sementara ketinggian kanopi hutan memiliki nilai permutation
importance tertinggi (35,2%). Hasil penelitian dapat menjadi dasar dalam
menentukan prioritas pengelolaan habitat dan upaya konservasi lutung jawa di
Pulau Jawa. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The Javan langur (Trachypithecus auratus) is an endemic primate species to
Java Island whose population has declined due to habitat degradation and
fragmentation. This study aimed to map the habitat suitability of the Javan langur
on Java Island and identify environmental factors influencing its distribution.
Habitat suitability modeling was conducted using the maximum entropy (MaxEnt)
algorithm based on 128 occurrence records and 12 selected environmental variables.
Model performance was evaluated using the Area Under the Curve (AUC). The
results showed that the model had good predictive performance, with an AUC value
of 0,871 and a standard deviation of 0,051. Less suitable habitat dominated the
study area, covering 73.370,54 km², while highly suitable habitat covered 4243.14
km². The variables with the highest percent contribution were class area (31,1%)
and elevation (27,4%), whereas forest canopy height had the highest permutation
importance value (35,2%). The findings of this study can serve as a basis for habitat
management prioritization and conservation efforts for the Javan langur on Java
Island. | |
