dc.description.abstractWorkshop maintenance PT XYZ masih menghadapi permasalahan berupa penempatan tools dan material yang belum tertata, kebersihan area yang belum konsisten serta belum optimalnya standarisasi dan pengendalian area kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kondisi aktual penerapan budaya kerja 5S, mengidentifikasi penyebab permasalahan dan menyusun perbaikan yang sesuai untuk workshop maintenance PT XYZ. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dokumentasi dan analisis 5Why. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat penerapan budaya kerja 5S berada pada kategori cukup dengan nilai 55,02% sehingga penerapannya belum optimal. Akar masalah utama terletak pada belum adanya sistem pengelolaan 5S yang terstruktur, terdokumentasi dan diawasi secara berkala. Perbaikan yang disusun meliputi mapping area 5S, identifikasi dan penataan tools, rak penyimpanan, yellow tag area, audit 5S berkala dan dokumentasi before-after. Sebagian besar perbaikan telah diimplementasikan dan menunjukkan arah perubahan area kerja yang lebih tertata dan terkontrol.
dc.description.abstractThe maintenance workshop of PT XYZ still faced several problems, including unorganized placement of tools and materials, inconsistent workplace cleanliness, and suboptimal standardization and control of the work area. This study aimed to analyze the actual condition of 5S work culture implementation, identify the causes of the problems, and formulate suitable improvements for the maintenance workshop of PT XYZ. The research used a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and 5 Why’s analysis. The results showed that the level of 5S implementation was categorized as moderate, with a score of 55.02%, indicating that the implementation had not yet been optimal. The main root cause was the absence of a structured, documented, and periodically supervised 5S management system. The proposed improvements included 5S area mapping, identification and arrangement of tools and materials, storage racks, a yellow tag area, 5S audits, and before-after documentation. Most of the improvements have been implemented and indicate a more organized and controlled workplace condition.
