dc.description.abstractBIANKA DWINANDA LARASATI. Implementasi Continuity Editing dalam Produksi Video Company Profile PT Boogie Apparel Indonesia. Dibimbing oleh RICI TRI HARPIN PRANATA. Proyek akhir ini menghadapi tantangan dalam menciptakan video company profile yang menampilkan kesinambungan antar shot yang konsisten. Tujuannya adalah mampu menciptakan kesinambungan visual yang baik pada setiap scene di dalam video company profile secara keseluruhan, sehingga perpindahan antar shot terlihat lebih mengalir dan mudah dipahami oleh audiens. Metode Villamil-Molina (1997) digunakan dalam proses produksi yang meliputi lima tahap: pengembangan konsep, pra produksi, produksi, pasca produksi, dan distribusi. Proses penyuntingan menggunakan teknik continuity editing yang didukung dengan beberapa teknik: aturan 180°, shot-reverse shot, eyeline match, establishing shot, match on action, point of view, cut in, dan cutaway. Menghasilkan video company profile PT Boogie Apparel Indonesia yang dipublikasikan di YouTube, serta didaftarkan sebagai Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI). Proyek akhir ini menemukan pembaharuan bahwa penerapan teknik continuity editing terbukti efektif digunakan perusahaan (B2B) dalam menyampaikan informasi perusahaan secara lebih menarik dan mudah dipahami. dc.description.abstractBIANKA DWINANDA LARASATI. Implementation of Continuity Editing in the Production of PT Boogie Apparel Indonesia’s Company Profile Video. Supervised by RICI TRI HARPIN PRANATA. This final project faced the challenge of creating a company profile video that features consistent continuity between shots. The goal was to achieve good visual continuity in every scene throughout the entire company profile video, so that transitions between shots appear more fluid and are easily understood by the audience. The Villamil-Molina method (1997) was used in the production process, which consists of five stages: development, pre-production, production, post-production, and delivery. The editing process utilized continuity editing techniques supported by several methods: the 180-degree rule, shot-reverse shot, eyeline match, establishing shot, match on action, point of view, cut-in, and cutaway. The result is a company profile video for PT Boogie Apparel Indonesia, published on YouTube and registered as Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). This final project found that the application of continuity editing techniques has proven effective for business-to-business (B2B) companies in conveying corporate information in a more engaging and easily understandable manner.
