The processed food industry is one of the industrial sectors with the potential to generate Hazardous and Toxic Waste (B3) from production and operational support activities. B3 waste management that does not comply with regulations can pose a risk of environmental pollution and health problems. This study aims to identify the actual conditions of B3 waste management and design a B3 waste disposal site (TPS) that complies with Ministerial Regulation No. 6 of 2021 based on actual waste generation. The research method used a descriptive approach through primary data collection through field observations and interviews, as well as secondary data from company documents and related regulations. The results showed that the B3 waste generated included used oil, used chemical packaging, ethanol glass bottles, and refrigerant cylinders, with a total generation of 209.92 kg/year. The assessment of the B3 waste disposal site (TPS) obtained an average compliance level of 37.9%, categorized as poor, requiring improvements to the storage facilities. Based on the calculations, the hazardous waste disposal site (TPS) was designed with dimensions of 5.2 m x 3.6 m x 3.06 m, equipped with natural ventilation, a lighting system, fire extinguishers, spill collection tanks, and other supporting facilities in accordance with technical requirements.
