dc.description.abstractSaninten [Castanopsis argentea (Blume) A.DC.] merupakan tanaman berkayu dari famili Fagaceae yang memiliki banyak manfaat. Keberadaan saninten di alam menurun disebabkan oleh pemanfaatan secara berlebihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menerapkan perbanyakan cangkok pada tanaman saninten untuk mengetahui keberhasilannya serta mengetahui pengaruh Rootone-F dan lama luka sayatan dibiarkan terhadap indikasi akar cangkok. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap faktorial, yaitu pemberian ZPT (tanpa dan Rootone-F) dan lama luka sayatan dibiarkan (0, 1, dan 2 hari). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Scheirer–Ray–Hare test. Hasil perbanyakan vegetatif cangkok pada saninten memiliki persentase berakar tertinggi sebesar 20% pada kombinasi ZPT dan lama luka sayatan dibiarkan A0B0 (tanpa ZPT, 0 hari), A0B2 (tanpa ZPT, 2 hari), dan A1B1 (Rootone-F, 1 hari) yang menunjukkan bahwa metode yang diuji dapat dilakukan dengan durasi penelitian yang lebih panjang. Pemberian ZPT pada cangkok saninten memberikan pengaruh cukup nyata terhadap persentase berkalus, sementara pemberian ZPT dan lama luka sayatan dibiarkan tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap persentase, jumlah dan panjang akar cangkok saninten.
dc.description.abstractSaninten [Castanopsis argentea (Blume) A.DC.] is a woody plant from the Fagaceae family that has many benefits. The population of saninten in the wild has declined due to overharvesting. This study aims to apply air layering method on saninten plants to determine its success and to investigate the effects of Rootone-F and the duration the cut wound is left open on the rooting of saninten grafts. The factorial completely randomized design was used, involving the application of plant growth regulators (without and with Rootone-F) and the duration the cut wound is left open (0, 1, and 2 days). The data obtained were analyzed using the Scheirer Ray–Hare test. The results of vegetative propagation by air layering on saninten showed the highest rooting percentage of 20% in the combinations of PGR and cutting wound was left open A0B0 (without PGR, 0 days), A0B2 (without PGR, 2 days), and A1B1 (Rootone-F, 1 day), indicating that the tested method can be carried out over a longer study duration. The application of plant growth regulators to saninten cuttings had a fairly significant effect on the callus formation percentage, while the application of PGR and the duration of the cut was left open had no significant effect on the percentage, number, or length of the saninten graft roots.
