dc.description.abstractBudidaya cacing vermi membutuhkan kondisi media yang optimal untuk pertumbuhan dan reproduksi, khususnya dalam hal kelembapan, pH, dan suhu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem monitoring dan kontrol kelembapan tanah berbasis mikrokontroler ESP32 yang mampu membaca parameter lingkungan secara real-time, mengontrol pompa air otomatis berdasarkan nilai ambang batas (threshold), serta menyediakan monitoring melalui dashboard website berbasis IoT. Metode penelitian meliputi studi literatur, perancangan sistem, implementasi perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, serta analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan perhitungan metrik kesalahan untuk mengevaluasi akurasi sensor. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem bekerja secara efektif dengan respons pompa yang cepat, data sensor yang konsisten, dan tingkat kesalahan yang rendah dibandingkan alat ukur konvensional. Sistem ini menyediakan solusi monitoring dan kontrol otomatis yang andal untuk mendukung budidaya cacing vermi secara optimal.
dc.description.abstractVermicomposting requires optimal growing conditions for growth and reproduction, particularly regarding moisture, pH, and temperature. This study aims to design and build a soil moisture monitoring and control system based on the ESP32 microcontroller capable of reading environmental parameters in real-time, controlling an automatic water pump based on threshold values, and providing monitoring via an IoT-based web dashboard. Research methods included literature review, system design, hardware and software implementation, and data analysis using descriptive statistics and error metric calculations to evaluate sensor accuracy. Test results show that the system operates effectively with fast pump response, consistent sensor data, and a low error rate compared to conventional measuring instruments. This system provides a reliable automated monitoring and control solution to support optimal vermicomposting.
