Optimalisasi Pengendalian Persediaan Spare Part Maintenance di Area Fabrikasi PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering
Abstract
PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur dan rekayasa alat berat. Perusahaan ini menghadapi permasalahan karena belum mengoptimalkan pengendalian persediaan spare part maintenance secara efektif, yang ditunjukkan oleh masih sering terjadinya stock out pada gudang penyimpanan spare part. Ketidaktepatan dalam pengelolaan persediaan tersebut dapat mengganggu pelaksanaan kegiatan maintenance, sehingga berpotensi menyebabkan keterlambatan proses produksi.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis permasalahan pengendalian persediaan spare part maintenance di area fabrikasi PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis FSN, analisis ABC, perhitungan Safety Stock (SS), Reorder Point (ROP), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), serta penentuan persediaan minimum–maksimum (minimum–maximum stock). Perhitungan dilakukan berdasarkan data historis penggunaan spare part dan lead time pengiriman selama periode Januari hingga Desember 2025.
Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan alternatif solusi dalam meningkatkan efisiensi sistem pengendalian persediaan spare part maintenance sehingga mampu mendukung kelancaran proses maintenance di PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering. PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering is a company engaged in the heavy equipment manufacturing and engineering industry. The company faces challenges in optimizing its maintenance spare part inventory control system, as indicated by the frequent occurrence of stockouts in the maintenance spare part warehouse. Inaccurate inventory management may disrupt maintenance activities, which can consequently delay the production process.
This study aims to analyze the maintenance spare part inventory control problems in the fabrication area of PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering. The methods employed in this study include FSN analysis, ABC analysis, Safety Stock (SS) calculation, Reorder Point (ROP), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), and Minimum–Maximum Stock analysis. The calculations were carried out based on historical spare part usage data and delivery lead time data collected from January to December 2025.
The results of this study are expected to provide alternative solutions for improving the efficiency of the maintenance spare part inventory control system, thereby supporting the continuity and effectiveness of maintenance activities at PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering.
