Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan kendala rekapitulasi account payable pada transaksi Cash On Delivery (COD) yang terjadi saat ini di J&T Bogor, serta merancang sistem rekapitulasi account payable pada transaksi Cash On Delivery (COD) berbasis Microsoft Excel VBA dan mengevaluasi sistem rekapitulasi account payable pada transaksi Cash On Delivery (COD) berbasis Microsoft Excel VBA di J&T Bogor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian terapan dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses rekapitulasi account payable transaksi Cash On Delivery yang berjalan masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan Microsoft Excel sehingga meningkatkan waktu pengerjaan, menyulitkan pemantauan nominal kewajiban pembayaran kepada klien, serta menghambat penyajian informasi account payable yang cepat dan akurat karena penyimpanan database yang terpisah. Oleh karena itu, dirancang sistem rekapitulasi berbasis Microsoft Excel VBA yang memiliki fitur login, impor data transaksi, pengolahan data, dan penyajian hasil rekapitulasi secara otomatis. Hasil pengujian dan implementasi dengan black box testing, yaitu seluruh fungsi sistem menunjukkan hasil yang valid dan hasil evaluasi sistem berdasarkan kerangka PIECES, yaitu sistem yang dirancang mampu memberikan peningkatan pada aspek performance, information, economy, control, efficiency, dan service.

This study aims to describe the process and constraints of recapitulating accounts payable for Cash On Delivery (COD) transactions, design a Microsoft Excel VBA-based recapitulation system, and evaluate the resulting system at J&T Bogor. This research is an applied research with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the current recapitulation process for accounts payable for Cash On Delivery transactions is still performed manually using Microsoft Excel, increasing processing time, complicating monitoring of payment obligations to clients, and hindering the fast and accurate presentation of accounts payable information due to separate database storage. Therefore, a Microsoft Excel VBA-based recapitulation system was designed that includes login features, transaction data import, data processing, and automatic presentation of recapitulation results. The results of testing and implementation using black box testing showed valid results for all system functions, and the system evaluation results, based on the PIECES framework, demonstrated that the designed system is capable of improving performance, information, economy, control, efficiency, and service.
