Pengembangan Media Kerja Accounting Service Berbasis Microsoft Excel VBA pada Kantor Akuntan Publik HR
Abstract
Meningkatnya jumlah klien dan kompleksitas pekerjaan accounting service pada Kantor Akuntan Publik (KAP) HR menuntut media kerja yang lebih terintegrasi, efisien, dan mampu meminimalkan kesalahan pencatatan. Media kerja Microsoft Excel yang digunakan sebelumnya masih memiliki kelemahan berupa banyaknya proses manual dan integrasi sistem yang belum menyeluruh. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis media kerja accounting service pada KAP HR, mengidentifikasi kendala dan kebutuhan pengguna, serta mengembangkan media kerja berbasis Microsoft Excel VBA. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian terapan dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi literatur, sedangkan pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode SDLC model Waterfall. Melalui Penerapan pada data CV. X periode Januari–Desember 2025, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media kerja berbasis Microsoft Excel VBA menghasilkan sistem yang lebih terintegrasi dan mendukung efisiensi proses accounting service. The increasing number of clients and the growing complexity of accounting service activities at HR Public Accounting Firm require a working paper system that is more integrated, efficient, and capable of minimizing recording errors. The Microsoft Excel-based work medium previously used still exhibited several weaknesses, including numerous manual processes and incomplete system integration. This study aims to analyze the accounting service working paper used at HR Public Accounting Firm, identify existing constraints and user requirements, and develop a Microsoft Excel VBA-based work medium system. This study employed an applied research method with a study case approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review, while the system development process applied the SDLC using the Waterfall model. Through the implementation using CV. X transaction data for the January–December 2025 period, the results indicate that the developed Microsoft Excel VBA-based working paper produced a more integrated system and supported the efficiency of accounting service processes.
