      Abstract

PT XYZ is a plastic component manufacturing company facing the absence of measurable inventory control standards for supporting materials, particularly in determining minimum stock, maximum stock, and reorder point. This study applies the Min-Max method to five supporting materials, Bushing T2101 (+), Bushing T2101 (-), Bushing T171B (-), Bushing T171B (+), and SEAL B6H-F475M-00, using usage data from January to March 2025. Parameters were calculated based on safety stock, reorder point, minimum stock, and maximum stock, derived from average daily usage, standard deviation, lead time, and packing quantity. A 30-day simulation resulted in zero stockout and 100% fill rate for all materials, demonstrating that Min-Max method is effective as an inventory control reference to reduce the risk of stockout and overstock.
