| dc.description.abstract | Sektor manufaktur memiliki peran yang signifikan terhadap perekonomian nasional. Peningkatan efisiensi dapat dilakukan melalui penerapan metode kerja yang tepat serta pengukuran kerja yang akurat, salah satunya menggunakan metode time study. PT XYZ sebagai perusahaan manufaktur di bidang produksi atap metal dan baja ringan menghadapi kendala pada proses quality check (QC), khususnya pada tahap pengecekan coil. Proses pengecekan yang masih dilakukan secara manual serta belum adanya instruksi kerja (IK) yang terstandarisasi Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan proses pengecekan coil belum memiliki pedoman kerja yang jelas pada setiap tahapannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi aktual proses pengecekan coil, menghitung waktu baku berdasarkan hasil pengukuran waktu aktual menggunakan metode time study, serta menyusun rekomendasi perbaikan berupa Instruksi Kerja (IK) dan One Point Lesson (OPL). Metode yang digunakan adalah stopwatch time study yang disertai dengan analisis metode kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa waktu baku proses pengecekan coil adalah sebesar 519,00 detik. Waktu baku ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam penyusunan instruksi kerja yang terstandarisasi. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The manufacturing sector plays a significant role in the national economy. Efficiency can be improved through the implementation of appropriate work methods and accurate work measurement, one of which is the time study method. PT XYZ, a manufacturing company specializing in the production of metal roofing and light steel products, faces challenges in the quality check (QC) process, particularly during the coil inspection stage. The inspection process is still conducted manually, and no standardized Work Instructions (WIs) have been established. This situation results in the coil inspection process lacking clear guidelines for each stage. This study aims to identify the current conditions of the coil inspection process, determine the standard time based on actual time measurements using the time study method, and formulate improvement recommendations in the form of Work Instructions (WIs) and One Point Lessons (OPL). The method employed in this study is the stopwatch time study, accompanied by a work method analysis. The results of the study indicate that the standard time for the coil inspection process is 519.00 seconds. This standard time is expected to serve as a reference for developing standardized Work Instructions (WIs). | |
