Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT XYZ yang beroperasi dalam industri Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) dan berperan penting dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan rumah tangga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat efektivitas produksi pada mesin NML, mengidentifikasi jenis kerugian (losses) yang paling sering terjadi, serta menelusuri akar penyebab dari kerugian tersebut. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan memberikan usulan perbaikan melalui pembuatan one point lesson dan checksheet. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi langsung, wawancara, serta studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 30%. Berdasarkan analisis six big losses, diketahui bahwa faktor utama yang menyebabkan rendahnya nilai OEE adalah equipment failure losses sebesar 26% dan setup adjustment losses sebesar 16%. Kedua jenis kerugian ini memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap penurunan kinerja mesin.

This research was conducted at PT XYZ, which operates in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry and plays a vital role in meeting household needs. The objectives of this study were to analyze the level of production effectiveness on NML machines, identify the most frequent types of losses, and explore the root causes of these losses. Furthermore, this study also aimed to provide improvement suggestions through the creation of one-point lessons and checksheets. Data collection methods used included direct observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results showed that the average Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value obtained was 30%. Based on the Six Big Losses analysis, it was found that the Mein factors causing the low OEE value were equipment failure losses at 26% and setup adjustment losses at 16%. Both types of losses had a significant impact on machine performance.
